Project 2048: Day 97

I had a little breakthrough today. I discovered that I want to paint on top of my drawings to create a washed out, calming look.

I also did some tests to familiarize myself with the level of transparency needed and how it affects the different inks and pencils I use regularly.

I started to think about my installation today and did some drawings to stylize the subject matter close to abstraction… i think i want them to be even more abstracted though.

Greg and I spent the last two days doing some sightseeing. We went to Fisherman’s Warf, did some shopping, ate some steak and even volunteered at a CELLspace event. Here is a picture of me holding alcatraz:
